This recall includes a fuchsia-colored Light-Up Magic Wand with a flashing star at the top that makes noise. The wand has a manufacturing date code on the bottom printed in white. Only magic wands with date codes between March 2018 (3/18/373) and June 2019 (6/19/373) are part of the recall. The hangtag includes the UPC code 085761220034.

Concern/Hazard


The battery cover on this toy can become detached from the toy giving children access to the button-cell batteries inside which pose a choking or ingestion hazard for children.

Confirmed Incidents


Toysmith has one report of a child swallowing a battery that had been removed from the wand. The battery was removed with the help of medical attention.

Remedy


Consumers should take the toy away from children immediately and return them to the store for a refund.
