Our Analysis

The True Womb Sleeping Swaddle has been discontinued.

Mimicking the mother's womb, the True Womb Sleeping Swaddle is for babies who usually break loose from other, less confining swaddles. It allows the hips and legs to flex and stretch while the baby tries to move back into the soothing fetal position. The SecureSleeve design keeps babies' arms inside the swaddle too. It's made of breathable, lightweight, four-way stretch material to make sure that baby won't overheat, while the ComfortWrap allows the garment to grow as baby grows.

Some claim that the True Womb improves sleep quality, reduces colic and improves feeding. Sizes range from small (newborn), small, medium and large. This swaddle is especially great for making swaddling an easy process (for those who are somewhat spatially challenged) because of all the Velcro. However, the Velcro can also be loud when you want to change the baby quietly.

Safety Tips:
It is strongly advised to cease swaddling an infant at 8 weeks of age and change baby to a sleep sack. Sadly, there are reports of 2-2.5 month old infants suffocating due to rolling onto their stomachs while swaddled.
